Jennifer Lopez has canceled her planned New Year’s Eve performance at E11even nightclub in Miami, Gossip Cop confirmed on Tuesday. The singer would have received $1 million for the gig, but she decided to bow out to spend the holiday with her family instead.
Gossip Cop is told by a source close to the singer that she “wanted to have some personal and family time.” Lopez recently bought a home in Bel-Air, which is reportedly where she’ll ring in the new year with her twin children, Max and Emme, and other family members.
The singer has had a packed schedule as of late, including filming her TV show “Shades of Blue” in New York City and performing her Las Vegas residency show All I Have. Lopez is on a short hiatus from her Las Vegas gig, but plans to resume the concert in February.
The singer has recently been making headlines in the wake of her ex-husband Marc Anthony getting a divorce from Shannon De Lima. Many outlets have wrongly reported that Lopez was the cause of Anthony and De Lima’s divorce, but Gossip Cop has debunked those inaccurate claims. There have also been rumors lately that the singer has rekindled a romance with Anthony, but those reports are false as well.
