“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest” 2017 takes place on Saturday, and Gossip Cop has a live stream. Check it out below!
Seacrest is back as host of ABC’s annual special for the 11th year in a row. Joining him again in Times Square is Jenny McCarthy. Mariah Carey is the event’s headliner, performing live on the show for the first time since 2005. Coincidentally, that was the same year Seacrest started co-hosting the festivities alongside the late Clark.
In addition to Carey, Thomas Rhett, DNCE, Gloria Estefan and the cast of On Your Feet! will also give performances. The coverage will also feature Fergie’s pre-taped Billboard Hollywood party. The filmed performers include Fifth Harmony, Niall Horan, Emeli Sande, Shawn Mendes, Lukas Graham, Alessia Cara, Hailee Steinfeld, G-Eazy, Bebe Rexha, Flo Rida, John Legend, Martin Garrix and Mike Posner.
But that’s not all. For the first time, “Rockin’ Eve” will have a New Orleans location, hosted by Lucy Hale. As part of a Central Time Zone countdown, Jason Derulo and Panic! At The Disco will join Hale and perform live from the Allstate Fan Fest. In addition, a feed from Las Vegas will show Lionel Richie giving what’s being called the “first performance of 2017.”
And that’s STILL not all. Demi Lovato will give the first-ever international “Rockin’ Eve” performance when cameras capture her singing onboard a Celebrity Cruises ship docked in St. Maarten.
