Where are celebrities ringing in New Year’s Eve 2016? Gossip Cop has rounded up a list so you know exactly how the stars will be celebrating in style.
Of course, there’s no more iconic place to spend the last hours of 2015 than in Manhattan’s Times Square, and plenty of celebrities will be in the city. Ryan Seacrest is one again hosting “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve,” for which Carrie Underwood is the headliner. Revelers will also get to see Demi Lovato, Luke Bryan, Wiz Khalifa, and Charlie Puth. Jenny McCarthy is returning as Seacrest’s co-host for the festivities, which will be broadcast on ABC.
For fans of “The Voice,” Carson Daly will be in Times Square to host NBC’s New Year’s Eve broadcast, during which Gwen Stefani will perform. And while Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper will also be based in Times Square for CNN, they’ll also be showcasing celebrations around the country and world, with Don Lemon in New Orleans and Poppy Harlow in Rio de Janeiro.
Of course, Times Square isn’t the only New Year’s Eve hotspot. Pitbull will be holding court in Miami, where he’ll be joined by Diddy, Jordin Sparks, Austin Mahone, Prince Royce, Timbaland, and Shawn Mendes. Camilla Cabello from Fifth Harmony will also be on hand, as will “Empire” stars Jussie Smollett and Yazz The Greatest. Terry Crews and Wendy Williams are the official hosts of “Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution,” which can be watched on FOX.
Some of the biggest bashes, though, won’t be watchable on TV. Nicki Minaj will be performing at Drai’s Nightclub in Las Vegas, though she will unfortunately be without boyfriend Meek Mill, who is prohibited from traveling due to his probation violation. But she won’t be the only star on the Strip.
Bruno Mars will be at the Cosmopolitan, while Maroon 5 takes over Mandalay Bay. Celine Dion will be at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, the site of her residency, and Carly Rae Jepsen plans to hit the stage at the Venetian. Others expected to be at various Las Vegas establishments are Nick Jonas, Chris Brown, Calvin Harris, Fetty Wap, DJ Khaled, Diplo, J. Cole, Travis Barker, Snoop Dogg, Pete Wentz, and Tiesto.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, Scott Disick is slated to host a party at 1Oak, which would be his first official post-rehab club appearance, assuming he shows up. TELL US: Which celebrity would you like to party with on New Year’s Eve?
