It’s New Year’s Eve, and celebrities are closing out 2014 with special messages shared on Twitter and Instagram. With 2015 upon us, many stars are reflecting on the year that was and the year that will be. A few are cracking jokes. Others are revealing their resolutions as they take part in celebrations around the world.
Jimmy Fallon wrote, “Happy New Year!! I’m typing this now because later it would’ve been… Hoppu ber yeart!! #2015 #2016FIRST.” Meanwhile, Jenna Dewan tweeted, “Happppppppppyyyy new year everyone!!!!! 2014 was a great one for me. Lots of growth, love and adventure. 2015 can’t wait to see what ya got!.” Kristin Chenoweth said, “Happy New Year! Thank you all for sharing my live album #ComingHome with me in 2014. See you soon 2015!” And Kelly Ripa exclaimed, “Thank you 2014. Can’t wait to meet you 2015!!!!”
“2014 has been a year of travel, friends, and growth. I’m so grateful for everyone in my life and can’t wait for what the new year holds,” Sarah Hyland wrote, adding, “Happy New Year’s Eve!” “Happy New Year to everyone,” added Ben Stiller. Lindsay Lohan wished, “Have a healthy, happy, blessed new year. Sending love and light to all of those that I love.”
Beyonce posted on Instagram, “Happy New Year!!.” Sean Hayes expressed, “I hope all of you have a wonderful and safe New Year’s Eve tonight. Let’s all laugh even harder in 2015.” Darren Criss directed followers to watch him on PBS: “HAPPY NYE! Need a party? Well @michaelfeinstein & I are singin some fave tunes with some talented friends!”
“Happy New Year #Europe!!! Wishing love, happiness and joy to all my European fans!!” tweeted Drake Bell, while Zoe Saldana wished, “Buon Anno!” And Juan Pablo said, “Thanks to EVERYONE for the support in 2014, the BEST is yet to COME.” Dax Shepard shared, “New Years Resolution #1: drive slow and patiently two days a week. #2 Stop talking sh*t about other people. What are yours?”
Adam Lambert tweeted, “HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!” Rose McGowan posted her thanks on Instagram: “Happy New Year’s everybody. Tonight I’m filled with gratitude for life. Thanks all for being a part of the journey. #2015″ And Chelsea Handler kept it simple, ,”Happy new year!”
