“New Year’s Eve With Carson Daly” will take place live from Times Square on Wednesday. Gossip Cop has a live stream below!
Daly leads the festivities for NBC for the eleventh year. For the 2014-2015 installment, he’ll be joined by Chrissy Teigen, Terry Crews of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” and “Marry Me” star Ken Marino. Daly’s “Voice” colleagues Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell will be among the performers. Performances will also include Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett and Seth MacFarlane, all of whom appeared earlier this month on the network’s “Christmas in Rockefeller Center.”
In a “Today Show” interview Wednesday morning, an enthusiastic Crews and Marino teased what the special night would have in store. Crews promised, “As the ball drops, my clothes come off.” Marino predicted, “We talk about all these things that happened this last year, we throw out some jokes, we have a nice time, we drink some champagne. I’m hopefully going to body surf. There’s enough people.”
What will really happen? You’ll have to tune in to find out. The broadcast begins at 10 p.m. Eastern, takes a break for the local news at 11 p.m., and then continues on until 12:30 a.m. on New Year’s Day. Stay tuned for the live stream!
