Taylor Swift closed out 2014 and ushered in 2015 performing a medley of hits from her new album 1989 on “Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve with Ryan Seacrest.” Check out the video below!

Swift, who previously headlined the annual special in 2012, returned to freezing cold Times Square in a midriff-baring outfit to perform “Welcome To New York” and “Shake It Off,” off her record-breaking album, 1989. As big as Swift was two years ago, the record, the singer’s fifth, propelled her to insane new heights this year, as she cemented her legacy as one of the most successful artists of all time.

And nearly all of Swift’s 2014 milestones took place in the last few months of the year. The country-turned-pop star spent the first half of the year on her Red tour, and then laid low as she secretly planned to surprise the music world with a new album. The news unexpectedly came in late August, when Swift debuted the lead single, “Shake It Off.”

Secret listening parties held for fans took place in the weeks leading up to the record’s October release. It shattered expectations, and became the first album to sell more than a million copies in a single week since 2002. Numerous other records were broken, and, not surprisingly, it managed to surpass the Frozen soundtrack as the top-selling album of the year, even though it only came out roughly nine weeks ago.

“I experienced so many moments of true love this year, and all of them were with you. Here’s to more magic in 2015,” Swift tweeted on Wednesday, hours before her final performance of the year. Watch the video below!
